Anyone who knows me knows that I am a firm supporter of the Second Amendment and believe a person should be able to possess whatever kind of weapon they choose. I also support hunters -- responsible hunters, that is.

To whomever shot the little spike buck and left it lying in my pasture sometime between Thursday afternoon and, from the state of the carcass, this morning, and, from the amount of trampling around the body you walked around it quite a bit -- I don't mind the out-of-season hunting even though the seasons are there to help keep a deer population in the county. What I do mind, however -- and totally despise -- is the callousness you showed in not taking the meat. Even if you don't like venison yourself, surely to goodness you know someone who does.

However, the buzzards are eating good for a few days.
