Letter: Feather could be from woodpecker Larry Clark writes: On my drive home from down at the Mt. Carmel boat ramp the other morning, I saw a pileated woodpecker. I was slow on the shutter button, so I didn't get a picture. Its size is sixteen to nineteen inches long. It was a beautiful sight, since I've not seen one in a long while. I went to the bird feather site and found some similar to the feather that was found on the walking path. It may be a woodpecker feather.Comments re: Mystery in the new Citizens Park Thanks, Larry!
